DressYourBodyType has finally planted its roots in its hometown of Kerrville, Texas with a new store called Corabell’s. With a fresh concept and a quaint ambiance, Corabell’s will be Kerrville’s leading specialty boutique providing unique, hand-picked clothing for the women of the Hill Country.

The Corabell boutique will be located in The Historic Garden District at 800 Earl Garrett, Kerrville, TX 78028, next door to the soon-to-be-opened hair spa, Tart. The two businesses plan to be open mid-summer and will be marked by an all-out celebration featuring live music, drinks and more. Tart and Corabell’s will also play host to informative beauty parties, trunk shows, fashion shows, and more.

With that being said, you want to wear something comfortable, airy and still cute and put together. Here are a few of my favorites from DressYourBodyType.com that are perfect for these occasions.

Rompers can be a tricky trend to follow. However, if you know your body type, you won’t have a problem deciding if this is that right romper for you. For more on Body Types, click here. One thing to consider is the waistline.  The romper, shown above, has a drawstring at the waistline which allows for a more comfortable fit.

If you have a more boyish or slim figure, this romper will proportion your body well. To create curves, the waistline needs to nip in. If you tend to be a little larger in the lower portion, rompers will be a little more challenging for you; however, there are still styles that work!

If you are top heavy, tube top romper will not give you the proper suppport. Look for sleeveless, short sleeve or halter top rompers instead. Spagetti straps may not flatter. Limited New Arrival – Belted Leopard Top!

The asymmetrical leopard top flatters most waist consitious ladies. It comes with a sinching belt; however, the belt easily be removed. The comfortable, easy-going top can be dressed up for Sunday brunch or casual for a low-key dinner.

This makes the perfect transition piece because the fabric is breathable and light weight.  Also, it has 3/4″ sleeves. The warmer it gets the more skin you want to show. That’s an easy concept to follow if you follow it tastefully.

Clothing can rule our lives if we let them. They can suffocate us.

Well, through the years, by experiencing being a woman, it is a bit easier to dress in the morning. Sure my mind goes a hundred miles an hour once I’m out of the shower but I sure do come prepared for just about any senario that involves garments getting in the way.

Typically, I check the weather. I peek outside to read the temperature. I am one of those that is always freezing so I make sure I have an appropriate layer.

So starting with the outfit… I base it around what events are going on that day, who I am going to be meeting with, who I may bump into, and how long I will be out. Like most people, I stay out most of the day once I leave. Anything I slip on must be able to withstand a full day’s work.

Mariah Carey... too many fussy ruffles!

Other things that come to mind…Am I trying too hard in this… Is this me?… Is this too fussy? (I never feel like me in fussy clothing.)

Shoes? Shoes are my down fall. I have gotten better about picking out more practical, easy-going shoes. Don’t get me wrong, I still love high heels but I have to be realistic.

Are your clothes going too far? Somethings they do and you have to stand your ground. Good luck in the closet.

Long skirts were seen all over the spring/summer runways. Pick a skirt that comes in at the waist and flows down just past the knee. This choice flatters a woman’s figure best. It’s super lady-like too.
