Embroidery & Lace
When you combined pretty embroidery and simple lace, it truly makes a statement especially on a maxi dress. I guess maxi dresses have decided to stick around for a little while longer. I am cheering them on. I really love the long dresses. They twist the sun dress concept a bit and give a more relaxed style.
The maxi dress is less complicated when it comes to body types compared to other pieces. If you are under 5’3″, I recommend hemming any maxi you find but only if the length bothers you. However, this rule is not set in stone. Depending on the look of the dress, hemming is not necessary. Such as the dress above, it is free and easy. With no fuss.
